After the TPAM 2015

TPAM2015 had finished. But Sinta and Eisa are still staying in Japan. So we will continue to make more conversations and some research, and be seeking our possibility toward future.

I felt about this TPAM days, we were riding on a new field which was very different from last year’s one. There were many many interesting philosophies, views, visions, and perspectives which were brought by a lot of participants who had come from various cities.

And for me, I found some important points. "ENGEKI QUEST” is a research project, will infiltrate into deep layers of cities, histories, and literature. So, I need some local partners who are living there, maybe artists, producers, journalists or researchers. “ENGEKI QUEST” will be “dynamo” which make new relationships together with people, using by not electric power but human power.

“ENGEKI” means “theater” or “drama” in Japanese. I think “ENGEKI” is the art which is based on human activities and has big power which can change the situations of this world in spite of sometimes seems very very vulnerable.

And I’m also a critic or journalist. In this year or next years, I will visit some cities and performing arts festivals, in order to be watching pieces and meeting artists and researching for “ENGEKI QUEST”. I like “away” situation, I love to feel solitude. (but of course I also like to drink together with friends...!)
I will go there alone, and seek "invisible and unknown water vein” which are sleeping in deep layers of cities, histories, and literature.

Of courese now we have a lot of difficulties in “Asia”, but some possibilities are already running on this world.
Junnosuke Tada, Jooyoung Koh, Hiromi Maruoka, Makiko Yamaguchi
